Eurofins appointed to DCA list of approved DNA suppliers.
Eurofins Genetic Services is pleased to announce the approval of its DNA testing laboratory, Eurofins Medigenomix GMbH by the Ministry of Justice to carry out parentage tests directed by the civil courts in England and Wales under section 20 of the Family Law Reform Act 1969.
Following the company’s successful accreditation by UKAS to ISO 17025 and by the Custodian Accreditation Services of the National DNA Database, Eurofins Medigenomix is the first laboratory outside of the UK to be awarded this approval by the MOJ. Enabling Eurofins to offer a full suite of accredited DNA paternity and relationship testing services in addition to drug and alcohol abuse analysis specifically to the legal services community.
This latest development continues the company objectives to provide its customers with the highest levels of quality and safety whilst meeting the demands of regulatory authorities for the submission of court admissible results.
