Is my DNA sample safe? What happens after the results are known?
Your returned samples are immediately logged into out computer management system and sent to our laboratories in specifically designed tamper-evident packaging. After all testing is complete and your results have been received you sample is securely stored for 3 months before being destroyed.
All case notes which include Identification paperwork and consent forms for a paternity case is held for a further year before being destroyed in compliance with the Data Protection Act 1998. Eurofins Genetic Services respects your right to privacy; we do not make our client information by way of email address, mailing list or phone numbers available to other organisations.
